About our school

St. Francis N.S. is situated in Donohill village in the Parish of Annacarty Donohill in Tipperary. The school operates under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Cashel-Emly, Dr Kieran O’Reilly. Donohill village is located 8 kilometres from Tipperary Town. It is a co-educational school for children from Junior Infants to 6th class and has a special class which caters for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Within the school there are four classrooms, three of these are used for class teaching and one is used for support teaching. All three teaching classrooms are spacious and have interactive whiteboards. The school has a playing field to the rear and basketball court at the front. Within the school building there is also a Sensory/Exercise room.

Opening Times

School starts at 9:10 am for all classes.

School Finishes at 1:50pm for Junior and Senior Infants and 2:50pm for all other pupils.

Yard is supervised in the morning from 9:00 am.

Break: 11:00 - 11:10
